Established in 2019, Wilby Jones stands as a leading tax and funding consultancy in the UK.

Over the past six years we’ve helped hundreds of businesses access government tax incentives. The reputation we have as a trusted innovation partner to startups and established public companies alike has been built through every report, proposal and interaction with our clients during this time.

Our suite of R&D services has gradually expanded to now include Tax Credits, Patent Box, Professional Development and Management Accounting. This allows us to meet the needs of clients at all stages of their business journey from inception to exit.

From 2016 - Today

Our Company History

2015 - Hamilton Blake Founded
Hamilton Blake is established to provide specialist tax and financial support services to individuals and businesses.
2016 - Simon Starts at Hamilton Blake
Simon Wilby joins Hamilton Blake, bringing his specialist expertise in R&D tax relief. This period helps establish the foundations for the creation of Wilby Jones and the expansion into other services.
2018 - Connor Joins Hamilton Blake
Connor Jones joins Hamilton Blake to grow and develop the business.
2019 - Wilby Jones is Created
Simon and Connor establish Wilby Jones. Since then, it has supported hundreds of UK businesses in accessing government tax incentives. Its client base has grown to include both early-stage companies and established businesses.
2023 - Company Moves to Norwich
As the business continues to expand, Wilby Jones recognises the benefits of relocating to Norwich. The new office offers the space and accessibility needed to support the long term growth of both it’s clients and staff. The company expands its services to include Accounting and Patent Box in addition to R&D Tax credits.
2026 - Accru Partners Invests in Wilby Jones
Wilby Jones joins Accru Partners, a group of independent accounting, tax, and advisory firms headquartered in Sweden. The partnership gives Wilby Jones access to wider expertise, and an international network of companies. Wilby Jones continues to operate with the same principles, delivering high quality service to it’s clients.
