 Blockchain Integration

The client sought to advance the security properties of a software based system through the integration of blockchain technology. To achieve this, the client sought to create a new touchless authentication process that could cross-reference datapoints while limiting access to the blockchain to authorised personnel. While some blockchain-based authentication technology existed within the industry, the technology remained in its infancy, meaning that there was limited industry guidance. The primary uncertainties that the client identified were: large-scale scalability, security risks, and integration difficulties.

Therefore, the client would extend overall industry knowledge surrounding the design and creation of a touchless authentication system.

AI Implementation for Supply-Chain Management Software

The client undertook a technical feasibility study to deduce whether the integration of a generative AI system within an existing legacy supply-chain management software could be possible. It was determined that while other industry leaders sought to achieve similar advancements, due to the emerging nature of generative AI technology, there was limited knowledge surrounding seamless integration. The uncertainties surrounding this project included: the lack of data suitable for the generative AI, that required clean data as a means of training the system; output transparency, including the ability to provide detailed explanations; and, system uncertainty, where it was unknown whether the supply-chain management system would be compatible with the AI.

This project represents an appreciably improvement on the industry standard of AI capabilities through increased operational efficiency, in terms of speed and data accuracy, for a supply-chain management software.
