Accounting

It is a nice to have cash injection, meaning that we will look at projects differently from an R&D perspective moving forwards. This is a benefit we weren’t aware of and it was nice to get cash back as it helps our balance sheet and may allow us to employ additional technical staff who can specialise in this area and win more work in the future.

Who was the client?

Our client is an SME (Small and medium-sized enterprise), that manufacture fire extinguishers in the UK. They are rapidly expanding and have experienced strong growth year on year. Recently, they’ve begun implementing expansion plans, with Wilby Jones providing guidance throughout the process, including advice on cash flow and the best funding options.

The new fire extinguisher they developed is one of their leading innovations. As a multi-purpose model, it is suitable for use on different types of fires including carbonaceous materials, flammable liquids, cooking oil and electrical. This removes the need for multiple extinguishers on site and ensures it’s the best solution for mostly any type of fire.
